Job Title:

ESL Teacher - Public School, Changning District, Shanghai

About the Job:

We're seeking teachers for our public school program in Shanghai's Changning District. The position entails teaching English to students between the ages of 6 and 13 (grade 1 - 5). Teach on average 20 hours a week, Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm). Each class is between 35 and 45 minutes long.

You'll work in some of the best equipped schools in Shanghai. A set curriculum is provided, and teachers are given in-depth training before they start teaching. The position would require you to be in Shanghai on or before August 24th for training and orientation.

Remuneration Package:

*Salary: RMB 10,000 - 12,000 (Paid NET, depending on experience and qualifications)
*Housing Allowance - CNY 1,000
*End Of Contract Bonus: RMB 5,000
*End of Contract Performance Bonus: RMB 5,000
*Health Insurance Reimbursement: up to RMB1,300
*Flight Allowance - None
*Holidays: 16 days (inclusive of National Holidays - There will be one month unpaid leave in the winter.)
*Valid Work Visa
*Contract Period: September 1st - June 20th (9.5 months)

About You:

*Native English Speakers from Canada, the UK, America, New Zealand or Australia
*Have a recognized EFL qualification (TEFL/TESOL /CELTA/DELTA)
*Have a university degree
*Teaching experience preferred but not essential
*A clean criminal record
*Excellent physical and mental health
*Must be able to commit to a 9.5 month contract
